Knowledge

Things people ask before buying

Will you migrate my existing site, or do I need to start from scratch?

Either. We do clean rebuilds when the old codebase is fragile, and lift-and-shift migrations when the architecture is sound but the hosting is the bottleneck. We'll review your current setup and recommend the cheaper-but-correct option.

Do you build with Next.js or WordPress?

Mostly Next.js, Astro, or hand-tuned static HTML. WordPress is fine for content-heavy sites with non-technical editors — we'll set you up with WP-Engine-grade hosting if that's the right call. We don't do Wix / Squarespace / Webflow rebuilds.

What's the difference between hosting with you vs Hostinger / Vercel?

We're closer to a managed-service partner than a self-serve host. You get an engineer on call, real CDN tuning for your traffic pattern, and budget alerts before bills surprise you. For a 3-page brochure, Vercel's free tier is fine — we're a fit when uptime, performance, and predictable cost matter.

Can I bring my own domain?

Yes. We handle DNS, SSL, and email forwarding setup. If the domain is at GoDaddy / Namecheap / Hostinger, we'll either move the DNS to our registrar or just point the records — whichever you prefer.

How long does a typical site take to build?

3-page marketing site: 7–10 days. Multi-section site with CMS: 3–4 weeks. SaaS dashboard or full-stack app: 6–12 weeks. We give you a written timeline before any contract is signed.

Who owns the code?

You do. Full ownership, source code in your GitHub, deployment access in your accounts. We're contractors, not landlords. If you ever want to leave, we'll hand over the keys without drama.
